To change a domain name also means to transfer a domain name.

To transfer a .UK domain name, you will need to contact Nominet, Nominet is the Internet registry for .uk domain names.

Both parties will need to complete a transfer form and send form to Nominet which a confirmatory letter. If the registrant is an individual, please also attach a recent utility bill addressed to the individual at their home address, or a copy of photo ID that confirms their home address, eg. driving licence.
